As a psychotherapist with thirty years experience, I have trained in multiple approaches including psycho-dynamic psychotherapy, mindfulness based therapy and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing.) EMDR is a powerful therapy that enables freedom from the impact of past events on the present. This fosters the development of new skills and traits that are adaptive and more useful in current situations. I am also trained in Somatic Experiencing (SE) which enables me to help my clients learn techniques they can use between sessions to regulate their nervous systems, leading to greater calmness, clarity of thought, and emotional steadiness in day-to-day life.

Through my experience as a psychotherapist, I see my clients make meaningful changes. This led me to training as an EMDR Consultant so that I can help other therapists who want to integrate EMDR into their psychotherapy practice.
